Sites
THE CASTLE OF KYTHIRA: The castle was built in the "Chora" by the Venetians during the 16th century. Around the castle there are many churches which date back to the 15th century. One church is dedicated to Panagia Myrtidiotissa, the protector of the island.
MONASTERIES: Saint John on the cliff (Kapsali), Moni Myrtidion, Saint Elessa, Saint Moni.
